The problem with mosquito advice
Mosquito guidance online is a hall of unmarked claims. A repellent tip sits next to a product ad with no way to tell which is which. Advice copied from advice copied from advice, none of it dated, none of it sourced.
Our answer: grades and dates
Every claim on MosquitoScience carries two marks: a source grade (A for controlled trials and systematic reviews, B for agency guidance, C for fact sheets) and a check date. When the evidence moves, the page moves with it.
The disease rule
Disease pages are commerce-free. No affiliate links, no sponsored traps, no repellent referrals where the topic is a fever. Products are graded, not sold, and never in the disease section.
What this site is not
It is not medical advice, and it says so on every page. It is a well-kept archive of graded public guidance: WHO, CDC, EPA, and peer-reviewed work, translated into decisions a household can actually take.
